SoCal firefighter's selfie goes viral

A picture of a firefighter taking a break during one of the San Diego County fires has gone viral.

San Marcos firefighter Tim Bergon took the selfie to let his wife know he was OK. An Escondido restaurant posted the pic on their Facebook page and it quickly became a place for people to thank the firefighters for their efforts.

Almost 35,000 people have liked the image of the firefighters resting on the dry grass and concrete.
