Bay Area LIFE: Discover the Tea house that invented Bubble Tea
Here is a chance to visit the tea house where Bubble Tea was invented - the sweet, foaming sensation that is now taking the United States by storm.

Our ABC7 team traveled to Taiwan recently with our friends from The Asian Art Museum in San Francisco and Taiwan Tourism Bureau.

During the journey they got a chance to visit the tea house where Bubble Tea was invented - the sweet, foaming sensation that is now taking the United States by storm.

Check out how the history behind this delightful drink and learn how to make one yourself!

In June you can learn even more about Taiwan and Chinese culture when Emperors' Treasures opens at the Asian Art Museum in San Francisco.

This signature exhibition of the museum's 50th Anniversary showcases magnificent and historic treasures from the National Palace Museum of Taipei, many which have never left Taiwan.

These special pieces offer great insight to centuries of Chinese culture and civilization.

ABC7 will air a special program in April previewing this exhibit.
