Food trucks are one of the best ways to dine on a dime, but how sanitary are they compared to regular restaurants?

A study by the Institute for Justice finds food trucks in seven major cities are just as clean, if not cleaner, than restaurants.

The study cites fewer food safety violations.

Food trucks must also undergo the same health inspections as brick-and-mortar establishments.
