On Halloween, Annalee Horne, posted the following image of her friend, Tom Schutt. Schutt is a math teacher who was diagnosed with Non-Hodgkin's Lymphoma at 27, according to Mashable. Schutt is an apparent fan of the hit sci-fi television and film franchise "Star Trek."

On the left, Schutt is dressed up in 2013 as Captain Jean Luc Picard from "Star Trek: The Next Generation," played by Sir Patrick Stewart, who happens to be bald. On the right is Schutt in 2014 with hair regrown following chemotherapy treatments, dressed up as Commander William T. Riker, right hand man to Captain Picard and also known for his well-groomed beard.

The tweet has been favorited nearly 10,000 times and retweeted almost 3,500 times, including by "Star Trek: The Next Generation" alumnus Wil Wheaton. Horne has been very gracious of the positive response.
