OAKLAND, Calif. -- One person was critically injured in a shooting in East Oakland Sunday morning, according to police.

The shooting was reported around 8 a.m. in the 7300 block of International Boulevard, police said.

The victim was taken to a hospital in critical condition.

Police said one armed suspect was involved in the shooting but has not been located.

An investigation into the crime is under way.

The shooting occurred about half a mile from the site of a Saturday night shooting that left one person dead and wounded two others, according to police.
