SAN FRANCISCO (KGO) --There's new outrage over a comment made by the Bay Area man who started the group Latinos For Trump.
It was a comment that combined food, culture and politics and became an overnight internet sensation.
"My culture is a very dominant culture. And it's imposing and it's causing problems. If you don't do something about it, you're going to have taco trucks on every corner," said Marco Gutierrez with Latinos For Trump.

"He's a nut," said San Francisco resident Mary Driscoll about the comment.
"I'm okay with taco trucks. I'm not against that," said Socorro MacMurray, also of San Francisco.
Gutierrez is a self-described Latino for Trump.

He was trying to support the republican presidential nominee's calls to tighten immigration controls in the U.S.
Instead, people on social media poked fun at the phrase using the hashtag #TacoTrucksOnEveryCorner, which has been trending most of the day. But not everyone is laughing.
"To have somebody who is there to represent the Latino community, on behalf of Donald Trump, they say something as absurd and as stupid as what he said is pretty funny in way, but it's sad," said San Francisco Supervisor David Campos.

San Francisco Republican party member Leo Lacayo, also a designated Trump campaign spokesman, made clear that Mr. Gutierrez doesn't speak for the campaign.
He says Trump's own words on immigration seem to be well received by supporters.
"When Donald Trump finished his ten points on immigration speech, the fundraiser website crashed, there was so much money flowing in," said Lacayo.
Lacayo is a long time immigration reform advocate, who is currently being sued by San Francisco City Attorney, accused of providing fraudulent legal advice to immigrants in the city.
A hearing on that case is scheduled for next month.
