San Jose Police investigate deadly shooting near Elementary school

SAN JOSE, Calif. (KGO) -- San Jose police are investigating the third homicide in the city this year.

Police reported to the scene on Mt. Pleasant Road near Columbine Drive just after 6 a.m. Friday.

Investigators found a man suffering from at least one gunshot wound inside of a bullet riddled car across the street from Robert Sanders Elementary School.

A blue tarp was quickly brought out to cover the car, which is an indicator that a body was left inside.

Right now San Jose Police have made no arrests and have released no details about a possible suspect.
