Transportation Authority looks into Marin County traffic issues at board meeting
The Transportation Authority of Marin looking into a way to relieve traffic. New data revealed that more people are driving into Marin County from the East Bay than any other region.

SAN RAFAEL, Calif. (KGO) -- The Transportation Authority of Marin looking into a way to relieve traffic.

New data revealed that more people are driving into Marin County from the East Bay than any other region.

36-percent of drivers come in from Alameda and Contra Costa counties combined.

28-percent of the traffic comes from the Sonoma County direction.

Surprisingly, 24-percent are coming from San Francisco.

"I wish there were better options I wish there was public transportation wish we had a train running up and down," said Kevin Pratt, a Marin County resident.

All these options will be discussed at a board meeting Thursday night.
