Missing 13-year-old Mountain View girl found safe in Woodland

MOUNTAIN VIEW, Calif. -- A 13-year-old girl who went missing Wednesday afternoon in Mountain View has been located, police said.

Myra Renteria was located in Woodland in Yolo County, police said before thanking the community for helping to find her.

Myra was reported missing Wednesday evening after she was last seen earlier that day leaving Crittenden Middle School, located at 1701 Rock St., according to police.

Police had said they believed Myra might have taken public transit to leave the area.
