SANTA ROSA, Calif. (KGO) -- You may see them in your neighborhood, sales people offering to save you money on your PG&E bill.

A Santa Rosa woman was impressed until she saw the charges. She got help from 7 On Your Side.

Years ago, the state PUC opened the way for independent energy companies to sell gas for your home. But this viewer says a sales team quoted a low rate but what was more important was what they did not tell her.
