Oakland gears up for Warriors victory parade, rally
OAKLAND, Calif. (KGO) -- Road closures have already begun around Lake Merritt Boulevard near the stage for the rally following the victory parade for the Dubs.
It takes teamwork to put together a parade and rally for the Golden State Warriors. Umi Vaughn is already dressed for the occasion. "If it's going to be like last time, this is going to be standing room only. So, I'll be on the other side of the water. So, I'll be listening and following on social media," he said.

Drone video showed the main stage that's almost ready for Dub Nation to celebrate their 2017 NBA champions.
Store fronts are decked in blue and yellow, where fans can watch the festivities along Broadway in Oakland.
Jimmy's Deli is opening at 6 a.m., with a simple menu that will include five or six sandwiches, soda, water and chips.
If you plan to attend, police said to use public transportation.
City officials announced new road closures. "On Interstate 880, Jackson Street, Oak Street, Broadway off ramps will be closed starting at 7 a.m.," City of Oakland spokesperson Karen Boyd said.
The area from Martin Luter King to Interstate 880 will be impacted by the parade.
ABC7 News saw signs saying officials will start towing on Wednesday night.
Barriers are in place for the large crowds.
Police advise people to stay alert. "Just be aware, don't be distracted. Often times, our phone is our biggest distraction. Maybe put it away before you get to your destination," Oakland Police Department PIO Marco Marquez said.
With just few seats close to the stage, organizers expect people to start showing up early. "When you come to the celebration, you see all different sides of Oakland. Some that you don't see together in the same place," Vaughn said.
An estimated 1.5 million people are expected to attend the 2017 Warriors parade and rally.
