Lawrence Rothenberg is holding onto memories from home movies of his 5-year-old son Vincent Reyes Rothenberg. He shared the videos with ABC7 News at his home Monday including one of little Vincent's graduation where he has a giant smile.

"My son is down is going to be down in the ground and so is the other son who I took care of as well, and that ain't right," said Lawrence Rothenberg.

Five-year-old Vincent and 10-year-old Lorenzo Reyes died in the crash Friday night.

"He was very smart, I talk to him sometimes I feel like I'm talking to an adult," said Rothenberg referring to 10-year-old Lorenzo Reyes.

Three-month-old Luciano Reyes and the children's mother Aida Reyes were injured in the crash.

"She lost two kids and there's a baby that I don't know the condition, things need to change at some point," said Rothenberg.

CHP investigators say 35-year-old Lemuel Wilson drove across a grassy median on State Route 4 in Concord hitting the Reyes family's vehicle on the Solano Avenue On-ramp. The 5 and 10-year-old children were thrown from the car.

According to CHP Officers, witnesses reported seeing Wilson running from the crash scene bleeding.

Saturday Wilson's wife told ABC7 News he turned himself in at a hospital.

"Me and my husband send our condolences and prayers out to the family," said Onika Wilson.

A spokesperson with the Alameda County Sheriff's Office says Wilson posted bail the day before the crash on charges related to terrorist threats out of Pleasanton.

His bail was lowered by the judge from 100-thousand dollars to 10-thousand dollars.

"Things need to change, this should never happen to me, to her, it shouldn't happen to anybody," said Rothenberg.

Wilson is facing several charges including vehicular homicide, hit and run and driving on a suspended or revoked driver's license.

Wilson is currently being treated at Highland Medical Center in Oakland.
