Three-alarm fire displaces 23 in San Francisco
A fire in San Francisco has displaed 23 residents near Balboa Park.

SAN FRANCISCO (KGO) -- An early morning three-alarm has displaced 23 people in San Francisco.

The fire was initially called in at 12:34 a.m. in the 300 block of Ocean Avenue and was contained at 1:23 a.m.

The blaze erupted at a body shop at a gas station and then spread to some nearby apartments. Firefighters said the gas pumps were never in danger of igniting. Crews are cleaning up some chemicals at the gas station.

The cause of the fire is under investigation and no injuries have been reported.
