SAN FRANCISCO (KGO) -- San Francisco police are investigating a shooting in the city's Pacific Heights neighborhood. According to officials, the shooting happened at about 9 p.m. across from Lafayette Park.

Initial reports came in that an Uber driver was shot during an attempted robbery at Laguna and Clay.

Police on the scene wouldn't confirm the victim was an Uber driver, but we can see his Uber sticker on the back of white vehicle.

Video shows the victim being loaded into an ambulance. He was taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

Police say they're looking for two suspects right now. They're following up leads, but the suspects haven't been caught yet.

Lt. Amy Hurvitz tells us that shootings in Pacific Heights are rare.

"Sure I mean, you can talk about crime stats. This is an unusual occurrence for this neighborhood, certainly," she said.

Clay Street was shut down for a short time as police continued their investigation.
