Baby boy who drowned in Antioch pool ID'd

ANTIOCH, Calif. -- A baby boy who drowned in an Antioch swimming pool Friday afternoon has been identified, according to the Contra Costa County coroner's office.

Marceau Singh-Jackson, an 18-month-old Antioch boy, was found in a pool around 3:45 p.m. Friday in the 2700 block of Zinfandel Court, according to the coroner's office.

The baby was not breathing when he was found and emergency personnel could not resuscitate him. He was pronounced dead at a hospital, police said.

There was a fence around the pool and adults were present when the accident occurred, according to police.
