CHP seeks witnesses in I-580 Dublin hit-and-run

DUBLIN, Calif. (KGO) -- The CHP is asking those who may have witnessed a hit-and-run accident on westbound I-580 in Dublin yesterday to come forward.

It took place at 11:25 yesterday morning just west of Grant Line Road and left a 25-year-old woman with major head injuries. The CHP says a woman was in a Toyota Tacoma pickup and was hit by a dark colored vehicle going about 80 miles-an-hour. The impact sent the woman's pickup across several lanes before rolling down an embankment.
