Authorities at Yellowstone National Park are trying to figure out whether to try and fish out a small drone that fell into a 200 foot deep hot springs.

That drone was being illegally operated by a tourist. Drones are banned in national parks.

The incident happened Saturday, and an employee let the tourist go without initially reporting it to authorities.

Park rangers have not yet spoken to that person. They're trying to determine if the drone damaged the spring, and if it's necessary to recover it.
