An elderly man was arrested on Tuesday after allegedly watching child pornography in his car in the parking loft of a Lowe's store in York, S.C., police say.

Leroy Moore Jr., 73, had been sitting in his car for 90 minutes in a handicap spot at Lowe's, when a passerby noticed what appeared to be obscene child pornography allegedly displayed on Moore's computer.

It was chilling and disturbing," York police Lt. Rich Caddell told WSOC. "He told us what he was doing. When we asked him he said he was watching little boys."

Lt. Caddell had to view the images to make the case against Moore.

"What I watched still affects me today, and will probably affect me for a while," Caddell told WSOC. The officers involved were wearing body cameras, from which they were able to capture Moore's confession and the images on the laptop.

Police linked Moore's arrest was linked to several complaints leading back to this summer where a man fitting Moore's description had been seen in public parks and store parking lots looking suspicious.

Moore had also been previously investigated in 2010 for child pornography, after images of underage girls had been discovered on his computer under the file "my girls" after he brought it in for repairs. Moore is currently held in jail on a bond of $10,000, and faces 10 years in prison if convicted of sexual exploitation of a minor.
