FREMONT, Calif. (KGO) --Police are investigating after a 96-year-old woman was killed in a crash in Fremont Thursday morning.
The crash was reported just before 7 a.m. on Fremont Boulevard between Central Avenue and Peralta Boulevard.
The victim was driving a Toyota Corrola when she was struck by a pickup truck. Police say it was raining at the time of the crash.
Police closed the road while conducting the investigation into the cause of the crash, but the roadway was later reopened. They did not believe drugs or alcohol were involved.
