Man found injured at Los Gatos home
There's a lot of police activity in a South Bay neighborhood after a man was found injured in front of a home in Los Gatos early Friday morning.

LOS GATOS, Calif. (KGO) -- There's a lot of police activity and a lot of mystery in a South Bay neighborhood, 10 hours after an injured man was found in a home.

The police tape is around the area of a home on Drakes Bay Avenue in Los Gatos.

This has become a huge crime scene. Drakes Bay Avenue is blocked off for several hundred yards all the way until the street actually turns south.

Crime scene investigators are at the home as this investigation heads into its tenth hour.

The first 911 call came in at about 1 a.m.

A 51-year-old man reported someone was injured in front of his house.

When police arrived, that 34-year-old man was inside the house and was taken to the hospital.

The 51-year-old was taken to the police station to be interviewed.

One neighbor described what she heard. "One of the guys just said, 'oh there's been an accident.' That's how he described it to us and they're not telling us anything," Carri said.

A Los Gatos police sergeant says the 34-year-old man was alive when he was taken to the hospital, but didn't know the man's current condition.

The sergeant says they're not revealing how the man was injured and whether he was shot, stabbed, beaten or something else.

The sergeant says he isn't aware of any arrests at this time.

There is no word on how long this investigation is going to last.
