Police arrest arson suspect following Mount Hamilton fire

SANTA CLARA, Calif. (KGO) -- Deputies in San Jose have arrested a man following a small fire on Mount Hamilton Monday night.

Tuan Tran, 31, is in custody facing arson and drug charges.

The Santa Clara County Sheriff's Office says Tran was arrested at a campsite on the property.

The fire broke out shortly after 10 p.m. near Mount Hamilton and Three Springs Road.

It burned about two acres before crews knocked it down.

Deputies are now trying to determine whether it was started by an illegal pot grow.
