San Jose police seek driver in fatal hit-and-run

SAN JOSE, Calif. (KGO) -- Police in San Jose are looking for the hit-and-run driver who killed a woman and drove off.

Police say the woman was struck while walking near McKee Road and North 33rd Street on Tuesday around 8 p.m.

Officers found the woman in the street with major injuries. She died at the hospital.

Witnesses say the driver was a woman in a light colored SUV, last seen heading west on McKee road.
