SFPD search for suspect in shooting of boy
San Francisco police are looking for a man they suspect of shooting a 13-year-old boy in the Mission District.

SAN FRANCISCO (KGO) -- San Francisco police are looking for a suspect in the shooting of a 13-year-old boy in the Mission District.

Sunday night, officers focused their search on the parking garage at Saint Luke's Hospital, about three blocks south of where the boy was shot. Witnesses say a man shot the boy near 26th and Valencia Streets just after 6:30 p.m. Sunday.

The boy is in critical condition, but is expected to survive after being rushed to a trauma center.

Police have not put out any information on a possible motive, or whether the boy was the intended target. No arrests have been made.
