Elizabeth Thomas disappeared from her home on March 13. Court papers filed recently in the girl's disappearance says she was afraid of Tad Cummins, and thought she would face repercussions at school if she resisted him.

Cummins is accused of having an inappropriate relationship with Thomas, kidnapping her, then leading law enforcement on a cross-country manhunt. The two were spotted a day later in a Walmart in Oaklahoma.

More than a month after their disappearance, Cummins' family spoke exclusively to ABC News, pleading for her return.

"I hope that he realizes that we're still here and that it makes him realize that if he comes home that he's not coming home to nothin," said Cummins' daughter Erica Osborne.

The two were found in Cecilville in Siskiyou County, Northwest of Redding in a Nissan Rogue.

The Siskiyou County Sherriff revealed the pair's cross-country trip took them through the Bay Area. "They visited various sites in the region, for example, they recently were in Berkeley, California and visited the Black Bear Ranch, which is a commune in the general area where they were located in the cabin," said Jon Lopey.
