Student shot near Kennedy High School in Richmond

RICHMOND, Calif. -- A lockdown has been lifted at a Richmond high school after a teen was shot in the leg in front of the school, police said.

The shooting occurred in front of John F. Kennedy High School at the intersection of South 41st Street and Cutting Boulevard, according to Richmond police spokeswoman Nicole Abetkov.

One juvenile was shot in the leg, she said.

No other injuries were reported and no suspect information was available.
