Two men hospitalized after shooting in San Jose

SAN JOSE, Calif. -- San Jose police this morning are investigating a shooting that sent two people to the hospital.

Officers responded at 12:28 a.m. to the 1000 block of McLaughlin Avenue and located two men suffering from gunshot wounds.

The victims were transported to the hospital, and police are at the scene investigating the incident.

Police said the circumstances surrounding the shooting are under investigation, and officers have detained several people.
