Two shot after leaving concert in Concord

WALNUT CREEK, Calif. (KGO) -- Two people were shot after leaving a concert at the Concord Pavilion.

The two were stopped at a red light on Ygnacio Valley Road and Oak Grove Road in Walnut Creek just before eight last night, after leaving the Stone Soul concert.

A vehicle pulled up alongside and a man jumped out. Police say he shot both the female driver and her male passenger with a handgun. They managed to drive to John Muir Hospital for treatment.

No word on their condition. The suspect is described as a six-foot tall man in his 20's, wearing a black mask, t-shirt and blue jeans.
