Video released of deadly hit-and-run accident in Pittsburg

PITTSBURG, Calif. (KGO) -- There are new details in a hit-and-run accident that killed a woman in Pittsburg. Police released video Tuesday night of the incident.

Video shows the silver Chevy step-side pickup involved. The truck drives up on the sidewalk, takes out a road sign and lamppost, and strikes the woman. This happened along Willow Pass Road Sunday night.

Michelle Braz, 50, died in the crash. She was walking her dog and pushing a shopping cart when she was hit.

Police continue to search for the driver and are hoping anyone with information about the driver will come forward.
