Video shows woman allegedly stealing mail from Santa Cruz home

SANTA CRUZ, Calif. (KGO) -- Police said surveillance video shows a woman allegedly stealing mail from a home on Escalona Drive in Santa Cruz.

In the video, the woman is seen walking up to the front of the property, ringing the doorbell and then taking items from the mailbox.

At one point, a resident spoke to the woman through the home's intercom. Then, the woman said she was looking for an Airbnb rental and then left.
