If you're making sure to remember Fido on your Christmas list this year, you're not alone.

The American Pet Products Association finds Americans are spending more than ever on gifts for furry friends.

The average shopper is expected to spend $30 on pet gifts. That's up 14 percent over last year.

People are actually being more generous on their pets than with their own families. The average budget for a family is $459, up just six percent over last year.
