Dog overjoyed to see Army sergeant 'dad' after Afghanistan deployment

Talk about man's best friend -- Simba was beside himself with joy to see his 'dad,' Army Sgt. Paul DiPaolo, walk through the front door after being deployed in Afghanistan for seven months.

"Who is it," April DiPaolo asks the family dog in the video. "Is it daddy?"

Simba can barely contain his excitement as waits for the door to open, barking and running back and forth between April and the door.

April uploaded the video of Simba excitedly greeting her husband to YouTube.

"He was so excited to see him in person and not on a Skype date," she wrote in the video caption.
