A rescue dog that completely lost his eyesight due to diabetes is finally seeing again after getting eye surgery.

Duffy is an 8-year-old Irish terrier from Pennsylvania. Veterinarians used medication to get his diabetes stable, and then he qualified for eye surgery to give him back his sight.

Duffy licked everyone in the room delighted to be able to see his owner and his family once again, for the first time in months.

The surgery and treatments took place outside Philadelphia at the Veterinary Referral Center in Malvern, Pennsylvania.
