Democrats Sanders, Clinton make Oakland ground-zero for campaigns
For the Democrats, Hillary Clinton and Bernie Sanders are wasting no time trying to win-over Bay Area voters and ground zero for their efforts, the city of Oakland.

OAKLAND, Calif. (KGO) -- For 2016 Democratic presidential candidates, Hillary Clinton and Bernie Sanders are wasting no time trying to win over Bay Area voters and ground zero for their efforts is the city of Oakland.

The storefront next to Market Hall and across from the Rockridge BART station will be Bernie Sanders' Northern California headquarters. They're set to open it up on Saturday.

Meanwhile, Hillary Clinton opened her California headquarters in Downtown Oakland on 14th Street. Watch the video above for Leslie Brinkely's full report.
