SoCal mayor tosses dog feces into neighbor's yard

SAN MARINO, Calif. (KGO) -- The mayor of a Southern California city admits he did in fact toss a bag of feces into a neighbor's yard.

Surveillance video in San Marino shows Mayor Dennis Kneier strolling down the street and casually tossing the feces onto his neighbor's walkway Saturday.

It's not a random yard either -- the homeowner has fought several of the mayor's proposals, including the creation of a dog park and farmers market.

The mayor wrote a letter of apology, saying it was a mistake.

Police said it's unlikely they will seek charges.
