SEOUL, South Korea (KGO) -- Pope Francis arrived in Seoul, South Korea Thursday morning. It's the first papal visit there in 25 years.

The pope's choice of wheels has surprised many in South Korea, where important people hit the streets in anything but expensive luxury cars. He left the airport in a small Kia.

His humble demeanor is receiving wide coverage.

Francis started his visit by making a public speech in English. He called for peace between South and North Korea.

But before the pope arrived, North Korea fired three missiles into the ocean and a couple more after he arrived.
