A lava lake is rising at Hawaii's Kilauea volcano and has overflowed a crater at least three times this week.

The crater holding the lava lake is about 500 by 700 feet wide.

A rockfall from the crater's wall also triggered a blast of small particles.

Scientists say they're not sure how long this will continue.

Kilauea's current eruption has been going on for more than three decades.
