SharkCam captures remarkable footage of shark attack

GUADALUPE ISLAND, Mexico (KGO) -- The Discovery Channel released some remarkable, never-before-seen footage of a shark attack.

The video captured the jaw-dropping moment when a great white shark attacked a remote-controlled underwater camera off the Pacific Coast of Mexico.

The shark came fast and furious at the SharkCam, biting into it with a force of about two tons per square-inch.

The high tech camera gives scientists a brand new, up-close look at shark life.
