Farmer plays Lorde's 'Royals' on trombone to attract cows

PEABODY, Kan. (KGO) -- What's the best way to bring the cows home? Try playing the song "Royals" by Lorde on the trombone.

That's how farmer Derek Klingenberg attracted his herd of cattle in Kansas. The cows heard the song and came running.

In order to prove this bizarre herding strategy actually worked, he filmed himself in action.

Some might think it was the music that moo-ved the cows, but others argue that there may have been a truck full of hay behind the camera.
