Duck Dynasty star Sadie Robertson won America's heart last fall when she became the runner-up on ABC's Dancing with the Stars. Now the 17-year-old is opening up about her faith, body image and being a teen growing up in the public eye in a personal and revealing video.

"I am just like any other girl," she says in the video, which has nearly 2.5 million views on YouTube. "I look in the mirror and I pick out the flaws."

Robertson says she struggles jealousy and comparing herself to others -- issues any teen can relate to, famous or not.

"I just think it's like important for girls to know that it's like no matter who you are, what position you're in, you know, everybody struggles with insecurities and everybody kind of compares themselves to somebody else, if they want to admit it or not" Robertson said on Good Morning America on Monday.

Sitting on her bed with no make-up, Robertson discusses her eating habits, lack of abs and thigh gap (which she says she only has because she's "really bow-legged") and how she struggles with confidence.

Robertson says she originally shot the video as a message for herself, but then posted it to YouTube after her sister said it was one others could benefit from hearing.

She says her entire family is a huge source of inspiration, and credits her mom for her strength. Robertson, whose family is known for its conservative Christian values, says in the video that God's is the approval one should look for.

"Don't look at somebody and say, 'This is what I want to be,'" she said. "Because in reality if you are seeking self-approval or human approval, you are never going reach your goal. You can only reach it by God."

Robertson is encouraging those who have watched the video to "live original" and not look to others when determining who they want to be.

"You can only be the best 'you' you can be."
