Meals on Wheels delivers Thanksgiving dinner to over 1,000 seniors

SAN FRANCISCO -- Volunteers are busy right now delivering Thanksgiving meals through Meals on Wheels.

Starting at 8 a.m. on Thursday, hundreds packed and delivered hot turkey dinners in their own cars to more than 1,000 home-bound seniors in San Francisco.

Volunteers did the same later Thursday morning in other Bay Area counties.

Meals on Wheels invites individuals and families to help out and end senior hunger in the Bay Area.
