92-year-old WWII vet goes skydiving in Florida
Jack Steffen became one of the oldest people to jump off a plane at Skydive City near Tampa Bay, Florida.

TAMPA BAY, Fla. (KGO) -- A 92-year-old World War II veteran is living his life to the fullest. Jack Steffen became one of the oldest people to jump off a plane at Skydive City near Tampa Bay, Florida.

But before he did it, his buddies had one last question. "'Why, why Jack?' Because it sounds exciting, never done it before. Let's try it. The most fearful is standing in the doorway. You are floating like on a cloud, there's no noise, it's serene," he said.

The jump was 13,000 feet and Steffen is looking forward to jumping again, maybe for his 95th birthday.
