Finney tries to find missing photographer who didn't deliver
A Vacaville youth football team paid for photos, but the photographer didn't deliver the photos and stopped returning calls.

FAIRFIELD, Calif. (KGO) -- Team photos for youth leagues make memories, but also take big bucks. They're not cheap, so when a Vacaville football team paid for pictures and didn't get them, they contacted 7 On Your Side.

The parents are ticked off and they say rightfully so. They paid for something they did not get.

This past season, the Vacaville Christian Junior Falcons did great! Three out of four of the Falcon teams made it into the playoffs, but off the field, the team is on a major losing streak.

Vacaville parent Gina Garrett told 7 On Your Side, "We had a photographer come out and take some pictures, and cash all our checks, and take all our money, and didn't produce any pictures."

They don't know exactly how much money they're out in total, but with more than 100 football players and cheerleaders involved, it is estimated $3,500 to $4,000 was paid in full last September.

The parents and kids say none of them received any photos from the photographer. The parents called and complained directly to Clyde Jones with TruFoto Imaging, out of Fairfield. Then they left messages on his answering service and eventually the parents went to the authorities, but still there no photographs delivered.

Vacaville parent Tami Crisafulli said she received "no response. Back in November, when I did contact him, he acted like he was working to get the pictures produced. And then two weeks later, he stopped texting and calling and emailing, and I haven't heard from him since."

That's when they called 7 On Your Side. We reached out to Jones by sending emails, letters and placing phone calls. Still, we got no response.

So 7 On Your Side went to Fairfield searching for Jones at his last known address. No one answered the door at the home and neighbors tell us Jones hasn't been seen there for months.

We then headed downtown. The TruFoto Imaging website lists its business address as 821 West Texas Street in Fairfield.

We went looking for that address and noticed there was a West Texas street, but the street changed and we couldn't find the exact address. That's when we ran into Darla Larkin from Grandeur Designs who told us they were located at 821 Texas Street and that 821 West Texas doesn't exist.

That means the address on the TruFoto website wasn't accurate.

So what do the Falcons want? Garrett told us, "I want him to be stopped. He's still doing this to people."

Vacaville parent Troy Young said, "It's just not right that somebody promotes their business and does a job, but then doesn't deliver a product. That's really the bottom line of it."

7 On Your Side is going to keep working on this case. If Jones took your photo and you didn't get the pictures or if you know where we can find him, please contact me here.
