Mayweather, Pacquiao on same card 14 years ago

SAN FRANCISCO (KGO) -- The boxing world will be focused on Las Vegas Saturday night for the most-hyped fight in decades -- Floyd Mayweather and Manny Pacquiao. However, the first time those two were on the same card was nearly 14 years ago in San Francisco.

ABC7 News spoke with attorney Sydney Hall who helped put that fight together in 2001. That fight was one of the first in the U.S. for then-newcomer Pacquiao, who had just arrived in the Bay Area from the Philippines.
