Sharks to play outdoor hockey game at Levi's Stadium

SANTA CLARA, Calif. (KGO) -- The San Jose Sharks are going to play a game of outdoor hockey at the new Levi's Stadium in Santa Clara. They're hosting the LA Kings on Saturday, February 21.

The home of the 49ers got the nod over AT&T Park in San Francisco.

Officials said the game could set an attendance record for hockey in California.

Sharks' season-ticket holders and certain Levi's Stadium members get the first chance at tickets on Thursday. Tickets for the general public will be released at a later date.
