Warriors fans got the chance to get their photo taken with record-setting guard Stephen Curry's two MVP trophies on Friday.

OAKLAND, Calif. (KGO) -- Warriors fans got the chance to get their photo taken with record-setting guard Stephen Curry's two MVP trophies on Friday.

The trophies were on display at the Warriors Team Store at Oracle Arena from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m., according to the Warriors.

Warriors fans tell say this is a once-in-a-life time opportunity to get up close and personal with two symbols of Curry's achievements.

Some played hooky from work or from school. Others drove from across the state just to snap a photo with the trophies.

"We came from the Central Valley, we drove two and half hours to come just to have this opportunity it's a once in a lifetime opportunity, said Warriors fan Rafael Maraville.

Curry was elected to his second consecutive MVP award on Wednesday and is only the 11th player to win the award in back-to-back seasons. He was the first NBA player to win unanimously.

He shattered the three-point shooting record this year, shooting 402 from beyond the arc and breaking his own previous record of 286, set in 2015.

Teammate Klay Thompson is the closest player to Curry's record, shooting 276 three-pointers this year.
