UC Berkeley's Edwards Stadium is in need of serious repairs and possibly retrofitting, so the university has announced it will close the west side tunnel for the security of both workers and the public.

BERKELEY, Calif. (KGO) -- Edwards Stadium is an iconic structure at UC Berkeley, but now the track and field stadium which opened in 1932 is in need of some serious repairs and possibly retrofitting.

On Monday, university officials announced it will close the west side tunnel for the security of both workers and the public.
