3D printers are out of control

Forget the Internet. 3D printers are the future.

Stop what you're doing, and learn how to use a 3D printer.

You can print anything with it.

(This company has been making 3D-printed jewelry and home decor for years.)

Seriously, anything.

The tool that we once used just to put words on paper can now make something that cuts paper.

Watch out, Madame Tussauds. The 3D printer is out to put you to shame.

Move over, bartenders. This Apple engineer and his handy 3D printer are changing drink mixing as we know it.

They're giving new meaning to Staples' "Easy" button.

They're even printing houses.

(One firm in China printed 10 in one day!)

And, perhaps craziest of all, they're feeding us. And they know what we want to eat (Oreos, anyone?).

But before you start worrying about printers taking over, just know they've done some pretty awesome things, like creating artificial limbs for kids.

They're making it easier to save the world, one good deed at a time.
