Orlando, Fla. (KGO) -- The happiest place on Earth is making an upgrade to keep moms and dads happy. Disney is now taking parking high-tech.

At Downtown Disney in Florida, parkgoers will now find sensor registers when they pull into the parking garages.

The sensors show how many spots are available in each row, so drivers don't waste time circling around for a spot.

This system was designed to help people get out of their cars and to the rides faster.

Disney is the parent company of ABC7 News.
