WASHINGTON (KGO) -- The U.S. State Department is the latest victim in a string of computer hacking attacks targeting government agencies.
The agency has been forced to temporarily shut down its website and unclassified email system after discovering a weekend security breach.
Security officials say there's no evidence the hackers tampered with any classified information.
It's not clear if the breach is related to other hacking cases involving the White House or the postal service.
