SANTA CLARA, Calif. (KGO) -- Santa Clara County commuters are having an easier time on the freeways thanks to the opening of two new ramps.

The Stevens Creek Boulevard corridor and the 280-880 Interchange have long been a backed-up nightmare for drivers.

A $62 million project has now created a new off- and on-ramp from and to Southbound 880.

On Friday, another reconfigured off-ramp to Stevens Creek from northbound 280 and Highway 17 will open to traffic.
