New on-ramps ease commute for South Bay drivers

Santa Clara County commuters are having an easier time on the freeways thanks to the opening of two new ramps.

The Stevens Creek Boulevard corridor and the 280-880 Interchange have long been a backed-up nightmare for drivers.

A $62 million project has now created a new off- and on-ramp from and to Southbound 880.

On Friday, another reconfigured off-ramp to Stevens Creek from northbound 280 and Highway 17 will open to traffic.
